We know we must feed the pet’s mind as well as the body so we make sure that in-home enrichment and Fear Free training are front-and-center with our pet professional team and our pet owners alike.
By becoming Fear Free professionals (and soon a Fear Free certified practice), we at Animal Health Care can make it much more relaxed, calmer and safer experience for our pets, their people, and our care loving team. This special training helps us work with you and your pet to make going to the vet better, easier and Fear Free!

Food treats often help us distract your pet in a very rewarding way… so we’ll ask you to bring your pets to us hungry and ask you to bring their favorite treats with you. Less stress for your pet means less stress for everybody. We keep a variety of snacks and treats on hand for dogs, cats, and even the small furry kids like rabbits. guinea pigs, ferrets and the like!
Do you have trouble herding your cat into the carrier? Do they yowl all the way here and back and then leave you with a prize package in the carrier before you even get here? Can’t get your dog into the car? ‘Nervous Nellies” and ‘Scaredy Cats’ are our specialty!
