As some of you may know, warm weather poses health and safety risks to your pets. You can help keep your pet safe by knowing these risks. Here are some tips on how to stay be prepared:
  • Speak with your veterinarian about how warm weather may affect your pet
  • If you plan on travelling, do research on different airline's animal travel safety
  • Keep your pet hydrated
  • Do frequent checks for parasites, such as ticks, fleas, and heartworm.
  • Provide different temperature zones in your house to ensure your pets comfortability
  • Never leave your pet in the car, even if the windows are cracked or the car is in the shade
